AM CH & CAN GCH. BPISS Prairiepine’s August Rush

August headed to the US in February and his first weekend out picked up 4 and 5 point majors and finished his US title shortly after that! His first (and only) weekend out as a Special he took BOV for a 4 point major toward his Grand!

Aptly named, August Rush is one of my all-time favorite movies and meaning of August just happens to fit my vision. August – Inspiring reverence or admiration; of supreme dignity or grandeur.

This beautiful baby with a melting expression stole our hearts! With a premier pedigree chocked full of AKC Champions, CCA winners and ROM producers… he did not disappoint.

August finished in a heartbeat at 6 months of age, then donned his summer coat so he could just hang out and be a delightful, fun puppy! This November at 11 months of age he and I, and his friend Jenna Cruthers, took a trip out to BC and attended the Frazier Valley show along with the two Collie Club of BC Specialties. This was his first time back in the ring since June and he handled it like a pro.

In an entry of over 40 Collies, August did us proud by taking Best Puppy in Multi-Breed Specialty Show under Adria Wiener, BOS in Multi-Breed Specialty under Roxann Heit, BOB and a Group 4 under Grant Townsend and BOB, Group 4 and BPIG under Joanne Fernall!
